What is an e–ticket?

An e–ticket (electronic ticket) is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number that neatly replaces the hassles of a paper ticket. When you purchase an e–ticket, we email it to you after the booking is complete. You do not need to print the ticket, you can simply save it in your phone and present it at the airport check in counter.

Why do I need to enter my nationality when I book tickets?

According to Nepali law, Nepali fares are applicable to Nepali and Indian nationals in Nepali Rupees. Residents of all other countries are required to pay in USD.

What is the maximum number of seats I can book?

You can book a maximum of 9 seats can at one time. If you need to book for more than 9 travelers you will have to re–complete the booking process for the additional travelers.

Can I book a multi–city trip?

At the moment, the website does not support multi city trips within Nepal.

Does Fly Hanuman offer any loyalty programs?

No, but we will have attractive offers running at various times. Stay sharp and you might grab a great deal.

Do I have to register with Fly Hanuman to use the site? What are the benefits of registering?

You do not have to register to use Fly Hanuman. However, we encourage you to do so. The benefits of registering with Fly Hanuman are:
1. There is no chance of making a mistake in your email, phone number or any other contact information if you register
2. You can view your entire account history when you register
3. You have access to various deals and offers we run regularly for registered users

Payments

How can I pay for my tickets?

If you are paying from within Nepal, you can pay with any SCT debit card through nPay, with a VISA credit card, an e-commerce enabled VISA debit card, with IME Pay or through online banking channels supported by nPay.

If you are paying from outside of Nepal, you can use your VISA, Mastercard or American Express cards.

My payments are not getting through. What is the problem?

If you are using an international credit card, your bank may have stopped your payment from going through to a site in Nepal. You will need to contact your bank and instruct them to let the payment request go through.

If you are using a Nepali credit / debit card, make sure your cards are e-commerce enabled. You will need to check with your bank to confirm this.If you are still having problems, or having problems paying using other methods, let us know and we will get to the root of the problem.

Fare & Ticket Types

What is NPR / USD / RES fare?

According to Nepali law, Nepali fares are applicable to Nepali and Indian nationals in Nepali Rupees. Residents of all other countries are required to pay in USD.

Residential fares are applicable to foreign nationals who have been in Nepal for at least 6 months before the flight date on a non-tourist work visa. Foreign Cockpit Crew flying different aircraft in Nepal will also be facilitated with this type of fare.

Can I book Residential tickets on FlyHanuman?

We cannot issue Residential fares on our site at the moment. However, we hope to have it available soon.

What is a child fare?

Child fare is applicable to passengers between 2 – 12 years of age. Child fare gives a discount of 33% on the highest fare on fare only. (The total ticket price is calculated as Fare + Fuel Surcharge (FSC) + Passenger Service Charge (PSC). The child discount is given only on Fare, the FSC and PSC remains the same.

When you search for tickets, lower priced tickets may be cheaper than a full ticket with child discount.

Can I book tickets for infants on FlyHanuman?

Infants are classified as children between 1 day – 2 years. You cannot book tickets for infants online, infant ticket bookings are done only in the airport check in counter. Infants will not be assigned seats and will have to travel in an adult's lap. Only 10% of the full fare is charged for infants. Please make sure you bring proof of age for infant tickets.

Why are tickets priced differently for the same flight?

The airlines offer different fares in the same flight based on facilities offered in the fare and the demand for tickets in that particular flight. For example, Buddha Air has different fares classified as Y, A, B, C, D & E Class. Y Class tickets are the most expensive, has the highest free baggage allowance (25 kgs) and carries only a 10% cancellation charge. On the other hand, E Class tickets are non-refundable and only allow 15 kgs of free baggage. Similarly, other airlines follow different rules for cancellations, refunds and baggage.

The ticket class, free baggage and refund policies are displayed when you search for flights.

Questions while you book

I've been getting zero flight results on the search page. What's happening?

Clear your browser cache and try the search again. If you are using Windows, press Ctrl + Shift + R (or Ctrl + F5) to clear your cache. Press Apple + R or Command + R is using a Mac. If you still don't get any flight results, it may either be because we can't find flights for that route or because there's no availability of flights for your dates.

Can I book round trip tickets?

Where do I enter my frequent flyer number while booking domestic flights?

We do not have an option of entering the frequent flier number at the time of booking domestic flights. However, we can certainly pass on your frequent flier number to the airline. Just call us as soon as you book your ticket and tell us your trip id and your frequent flier number.

I've selected 5 passengers (adult + children). Why are some airlines missing from the search results?

Some airlines don't allow us to book more than 4 passengers (adult + children) in one go, so try to search for fewer passengers.

I entered my payment details and hit submit – and all I got was a blank screen! I got charged but don’t have an e–ticket. What now?

We're really sorry for the inconvenience. Please don't worry. We’ll call you within four hours and complete this booking offline. We suggest you do not try booking again as you may end up getting charged twice.

If you're really impatient, call us at and we’ll help you fix this immediately.

Questions after you've booked

How do I know my reservation was booked?

If you have been able to download your ticket, your reservation has been confirmed. We will also send you an email with a link to download your confirmed ticket. If you suspect your email address was entered incorrectly, please contact us with your transaction number and we will help you get your ticket.

Do I need to confirm my flight reservation before I fly?

No, you don’t. If you really want to, though, you can by writing to our Customer Support Team at >flights@fantasticnepal.com or by contacting the airline directly.

How do I confirm my seat assignments?

Domestic airlines do not offer do pre–seating at the moment.

How do I get my e–ticket details?

We'll send your e–ticket details to the email address you gave us when you made your reservation.

How do I get a boarding pass for an e–ticket?

You need to show your e–ticket (either in your smartphone screen or a printed copy) at the airport check–in counter. The airline representative will issue your boarding pass at that time.

Do I have to show my e–ticket confirmation email at the airline check–in counter?

Yes, you do.

Do I have to pay something extra at the airport?

No, all taxes related to the ticket have already been covered in the listed price.

Do I have to show ID proof at the time of check–in?

Yes, you will need to show photo ID proof at the time of check in.

How do I find out my baggage limit?

Your baggage limit is mentioned in the flight ticket. The baggage limit is also shown in the ticket list before you purchase the ticket.

I've booked my tickets but need to add my child's tickets to my booking. How do I do it?

Unfortunately, a child cannot be added to an existing reservation. You will need to book a separate ticket for your child. You can book this yourself or contact us to do it for you.

I misspelled my name while booking a ticket. How do I get it changed?

You can call us to check if the airline you’ve booked with entertains change–of–name requests. However, if the airline doesn’t allow it, you’ll have to cancel and re–book the ticket.

I selected the wrong prefix (Mr/Mrs) to a passenger’s name while booking. How can I get this changed?

Just call us and tell us your trip ID. We’ll find out if your airline supports title change and if it does, we'll pass on your details to them. If the airline doesn’t allow title change you’ll have to cancel and then re–book the ticket with the correct title.

Is it possible to book tickets for another person through my account?

Yes, just enter the details of the passengers you want to book for when you’re asked to enter passenger details at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

How do I cancel a flight reservation?

You cannot cancel your tickets from the site itself at the moment. Send us an email or call us to cancel your reservation. Please note that different fares have different cancellation rules, you can find them here.

We will process your refund within 24 hours. Depending on your mode of payment and bank, this may take between 4 to 14 working days to process.

What if my flight does not fly on time?

Airlines may cancel or reschedule flights due to weather, air traffic congestion, technical issues or other reasons.

If your flight does not take off within one hour of scheduled flight time, you can claim a full refund of the ticket amount. To do this, you will have to be at the airport and ask the airlines counter to mark your ticket as refunded.

To claim the refund, you will need to send us an email of your ticket with the airline’s refunded stamp. We will process the refund within 4 to 14 working days.

The flight I booked was cancelled by the airline. How do I get my money back?

If the flight you booked got cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund, in most cases. Please send an email to customersupport@fantasticnepal.com along with your Txn ID and if you mention that your flight was cancelled, we will make sure you get a full refund, after verifying the same with the airline.

What are the cancellation charges?

Short answer – it depends. Long answer – the cancellation charges depend on the airline, sector, class of booking, and time of cancellation. To know what's applicable in your case, check the fare rules here.

How long does it take to process a refund?

We usually process the refund within 4 working days of cancellation. However, it may take slightly longer to reflect in your account statement depending upon your bank.

The airline I booked has suspended its operations. How do I claim my refund?

You need to write to us on customersupport@fantasticnepal.com and provide your Trip ID along with airline details.

We will follow up for refunds with the airline.As soon as the airline refunds us, we will reverse your refund amount to the mode of payment that was used while booking.

Amendments (Rescheduling)

What is an amendment?

An amendment is a fancy word for a change in your travel plan. You can change the date or time (or both) of your travel; you cannot, however, change the sector(s) on which you're already booked. For example, if you're booked on a flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar, you cannot change your destination to Pokhara.

Please note that airline changes are not allowed in case of amendments. However, you can cancel your existing reservation and re-book a different airline of your choice online.

How do I make changes to a flight reservation?

You can either contact us at customersupport@fantasticnepal.com or call us to change your flight reservation

What does it cost to make an amendment?

All amendments come at a fee that varies from airline to airline. In addition to this fee, Fly Hanuman charges an amendment handling fee of NRP 250 per passenger. We’ll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans. We’ll also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.

How do I get my ticket(s) after an amendment?

We'll email your amended tickets within 60 minutes of making the change to the email address you used for the original booking.

Can I cancel my tickets after an amendment?

Yes, please call customer support and cancel the same. Please be aware that cancellation charges may apply depending on your ticket and the airlines. Fly Hanuman charges a cancellation handling fee of NRP 250 per passenger.
